We are moving to Tucson AZ from Anchorage, AK. We are looking at houses on line and can't really seem to get a feel for the town. Any advice on where to move. We are looking for something between 180,000 and 200,000. We have a toddler and would like to have a few big dogs. Anything by a park or running trail would be amazing. Short comutes are a must with gas prices, but we don't want to live in low income housing either.|||http://www.dogfriendly.com/server/travel鈥?/a>

There is a walking/running trail called the River Walk that has a park as well. The road 'River' extends through many neighborhoods, nice/convenient road to live off of.

|||Depends on where you are working, but near the university, the nice neighborhoods are Sam Hughes and Blenman. The square mile north of the university is a nice place, but stay east of Euclid. If you are flexible with location, north of the street River offers some great new places... but for your price range, out west is perfect. For under $200,000, you get views of the city, a new house, with a yard, safe neighborhood, and a nice community. Feel free to email me with questions... I know Tucson like the back of my hand.
