We're not blaming you. We're just saying that a divisive society adds fuel to the fire of insanity.

We're saying to pause and do some self-reflection. In some small way, we as a society are all responsible for what happened.

If you don't think so, why even live in a society if you're not going to care about each other.|||thank you! that's what I'm saying.|||They honestly believe that if they deflect everything to the other side, they don't have to be personally accountable for their actions.

Rational people know that NEITHER SIDE is to blame for Tucson -- Loughner is to blame, but we also know that the vitriol spewed on hate radio and hate TV is not good for any of us.

And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that when violent rhetoric is being broadcast, there's going to be a nutjob somewhere who thinks it's fuel for his fire.|||It's a natural reaction whenever one of their pet wedge issues harms a lot of people when a nut gets gun and lots of ammo, a lot of senseless violence is going to occur.

Regressive's are merely trying to pigeon-hole the blame on their most powerless of nemesis's, the indefensible straw-man liberal catch-all of fantasy scape-goats, the mythological "gun-nut liberal"!

What's makes for truly confusing aftermath of a mass murder spree?

Pinning the blame on a "confused angry liberal archetype" who kills "his own kind"?

This makes as much sense as punishing thousands of innocent Iraqis for something done on 9/11 by supposedly a majority of Saudi Arabians and a few Pakistanis?

Oh yeah, we're still supporting both governments regardless of the circumstances of 9/11 or the convoluted response to it.|||Perhaps you didn't read a lot of the questions on this site in the days after the shooting. That might be understandable.

Did you also not notice the media blame game at publications like these?
A few examples from notable websites:

The New York Times: "During the fall campaign, Sarah Palin, the former Republican vice-presidential candidate, posted a controversial map on her Facebook page depicting spots where Democrats were running for re-election; those Democrats were noted by crosshairs symbols like those seen through the scope of a gun. Ms. Giffords was among those on Ms. Palin's map."

The Huffington Post: "Above all, to judge by Jared Loughner's deluded ramblings about government brainwashing and a phony currency, extremists are becoming even more radicalized and violent. Given some of the wild rhetoric emanating from the Tea Party, the surprising thing probably isn't that a terrible event like this happened now. It's that it didn't occur even earlier."

Achenblog (at The Washington Post): "Giffords was one of the 20 Democrats who were elected in 2008 and voted for health care reform and were then targeted for defeat by Sarah Palin in a "takebackthe20" campaign that included a map showing each congressional district in cross-hairs -- as in a gunsight. Rather incendiary."

Fortunately, we now know that the blame was utter garbage.

P.S. - here is some more garbage on the site right now.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>|||Yes, you are blaming conservatives when in reality, this mentally ill man was a liberal. It's amazing how the left jumped to the conclusion that he became enraged after listening to the likes of Palin and Limbaugh when he hadn't said why he did it. He's on You Tube promoting the Communist Manifesto.|||Breaking: Democrats Plotted to Blame Tea Party for Slaughter

Liberals blame Sarah Palin in wake of Tucson shooting

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/011鈥?/a>|||maybe it has something to do with all the liberals that go on TV, and the internet that say it was a conservative who did it, and was motivated by conservative beliefs he didn't have?|||My self-reflection made me come to this conclusion: He was nucking futs. For all the money all the social agencies soak up from us on a non-stop basis, this is a sin. What good did it do him or us, as a society?|||I've seen plenty of blame. I haven't seen a left leaning source that discusses the shooting and doesn't mention Sarah Palin.|||The hell the left isn't placing blame! Krugman, mediamatters, dailykos and the whackos at MSLSD, to name a few, are all guilty.|||Probably because they did. Now is that not a novel reason.|||Because their heros.....Fox News, Rush and Palin tell them how to think.|||shut up and f*ck you!!!!|||They are. Where the hell have you been for the last week?|||What a great word smith you are.Now your changing the finger pointing to fit your sides lack of judgment....the gall!
