My cousin is moving to Tucson and we are driving so we wandered what would be the best way to get there. Any suggestions?|||Your question is an oxymoron. The fastest route is not the most interesting route.

I drove from Philly to Tucson in 2002 by the most interesting route which was not very fast.

The most interesting route is down the Skyline Drive, Blud Ridge Parkway on down to the Smokies Park going across TN and down the Natchez Trace, crossing the Mississippi at Natchez, heading across Texas through Lufkin, Waco, San Angelo and on up to Hobbs, NM to Alamogordo to Lourdsburg and into AZ taking 80S into Douglas, Bisbee and Tombstone before hitting Tucson.

Fast is another story.PA Turnpike to Route 70W to St. Louis 44W to 40W to 25S to 10W. Boring most of the way. Done this route too.
