tucson: Some people are saying its a good think that Obama is coming to Tucson to remember those killed in the shooting on Saturday. But other say that it is a publicity stunt. What do you think?|||I live in Tucson and Obama came today. I watched the entire thing on TV and I feel that it was really nice to remember everyone killed. I think it needed to happen. January 8th was a very sad day for me and many other people in Tucson. Gabrielle Giffords is extremely wonderful and kind-hearted. And none of the other shooting victims deserved to die. <3|||It's what all Presidents do. The job of the presidency is not to be politican 24/7 but to be a representative of all during times of tragedy and grief! Those who don't like President Obama will say it's a photo opt but then u can tell them that President Bush's travel to New York right after 9/11 was just a photo opt! This is major because of the nature that someone tried to assasinate a member of congress and things like that rarely happened and are don't right sick. No matter what side of the political spectrum your from, having someone or group trying to silence our voices through our representatives is un American and goes against the principles of out democracy! So yes it's very much called for!|||Well if he didn't do it he'd be under fire. So if it is a publicity stunt well it's sad that at the leaders of our nation must involve themselves in such acts. Obama can't win with some people, bottom line.|||Publicity Stunt? He's the President of the United States for crying out loud. It is entirely appropriate that he be there.|||I hear that he is getting a lot of pressure from the left to use this incident to criticize the right. I hope he does. It will cause him to lose even more votes.|||Assassination attempt on a political figure....six dead, 13 injured...national tragedy... Connect the dots, yo.|||Those that wish to believe what they believe will believe it.|||I hope they ask for his documentation.
