My partner and I would like to have a baby. And, wanted to know how much artificial insemination cost in Tucson, Arizona? And, if you know of any good doctors and where they are located? Thanks so much. :)|||We would need more info to be able to give you an estimate.

The cost of artificial insemination can vary greatly - will you be doing a medicated cycle? Would it be with something like Clomid or injectibles? What sort of monitoring would the doctor do regarding blood tests and ultrasounds? Will you be purchasing donor sperm or do you have a partner or known donor? When you say artificial insemination, are you talking about an IUI or IVF?

Basically an IUI can cost anywhere from several hundred to several thousand dollars (injectible fertility medications alone can cost a few thousand dollars) and IVF (where they take extra steps to remove the eggs and fertilize them in the lab) would be $12,000+ on average.

It would be best to meet with a fertility specialist, have a check up, see what they recommend and go from there - cost at different clinics can also vary widely.

Here is a great site that you can visit to look up clinics in the US and success rates:

Good luck!|||Have you thought of using fsdw? It's subscription but quite cheap, not sure what it'd be in $ but it costs me 拢20 a month. My boyfriend and I (he's infertile) met with several men who had signed up to be free donors before settling on one who was a good match for us. Our one is actually a clinic registered donor so we know he's had std checks etc but obv there is more risk with fresh sperm. The success rates are higher than frozen though. You could ask them to donate to a clinic if you'd prefer frozen.|||5-10000

There are books and web stuff that can help.

Happy surfing
