tucson: I am from Los Angeles and a new student to University of Arizona in Tucson. I found that crime statistics show that some parts of Tucson are dangerous. I will be living off campus about a mile and a half southwest of the University by myself. I was wondering how dangerous is the area and whether I should be carrying any protection. I don't want to carry a gun. I will have a car and bike near my apartment.
